Hear from one of our Scouts about why you should join 2nd KL

2nd KL Scout Group is open to young people attending  an international school, home school, or unschool experience with a primary residence within the greater Klang Valley, including Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Putra Jaya, and Selangor.

Currently, all sections are full. Please complete the waiting list application below and one of our team will be in touch when your child approaches the top of the list.

Application to become a Beaver, Cub, Scout or Explorer

Beavers – if your child is aged between 6 – 8 years old, please apply to the waiting list then one of the leaders will be in touch once a place is available.
Cubs – if your child is aged between 8-10 years old, please apply to the waiting list then one of the leaders will be in touch once a place is available.
Scouts – if your child is aged between 10-14 years old, please apply to the waiting list then one of the leaders will be in touch once a place is available.
Explorers – if your child is aged between 14-18 years old, please apply to the waiting list then one of the leaders will be in touch once a place is available.
Before being offered a place, parents will be asked to provide:
a) proof of current residential address to ensure it falls within our catchment area
b) proof of school registration for those currently enrolled in a school in Kuala Lumpur
c) a statement of undertaking that the young person, if offered a place, will attend at least 70% of all events
d) a signed copy of the behaviour policy as confirmation of accepting its terms and conditions
Places are offered on a priority basis, depending on availability:
  1. Children of uniformed leaders
  2. Already a member of 2nd Kuala Lumpur/Scouting
  3. Siblings of current members
  4. Time on waiting list
