Mairi Clare has been Group Scout Leader with 2nd KL since we first started in October 2014.  She has watched it grow from 24 young people to over 60 across 3 sections: Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts.  Some of our original members are still with us and have even moved on to become Explorers.  Mairi Clare moved to Kuala Lumpur from Abu Dhabi where she had been the Beaver Scout Leader with 1st Abu Dhabi; she has now been involved in Scouting for over 10 years having joined as a leader when her eldest became a Beaver.

Mairi Clare is passionate about Scouting, and all it has to offer young people, from camping to skills for life through the many activities we have to offer.  She finds it so rewarding to watch the young people grow in the time they are in each section and build on what they have learned as they move on to the next stage of their Scouting journey.
